Stephen Corcoran serves as a Senior Vice President and Client Service Officer on GreatBanc’s ESOP Client Services Team, where he specializes in the ongoing administration and management of ESOPs.
Mr. Corcoran joined GreatBanc Trust Company in 2017 and has been in the employee benefits industry for more than three decades. Previously, he served as an Employee Benefits Division Manager and as a Senior Employee Benefits Consultant, giving him extensive knowledge and experience regarding supervised benefit plan audits. He is also an expert in laws and regulations related to ERISA.
Mr. Corcoran earned a Bachelor of Arts (BA) in political sciences from Purdue University and graduated with high honors from The John Marshall Law School, where he earned a Master of Science (MS) in employee benefits law. Mr. Corcoran earned his Certified Retirement Services Professional (CRSP) designation from the American Bankers Association.
He has served as editor and contributing writer for Tax Law and Employee Benefits In-Brief. Mr. Corcoran is also an active member of The ESOP Association (TEA) and the National Center for Employee Ownership (NCEO).
