Stephen Corcoran currently serves as Senior Vice President in the Employee Stock Ownership Plans (ESOP) Client Services Group, specializing in the administration of ESOPs.

Mr. Corcoran joined GreatBanc Trust Company in 2017. Beginning his career in employee benefits services in 1995, Mr. Corcoran previously served as Employee Benefits Division Manager at First Midwest Bank. He had also worked in employee benefits at First American Bank and as a Senior Employee Benefits Consultant. Among his extensive experience, Mr. Corcoran has planned and supervised benefit plan audits and served as a subject matter expert in laws and regulations related to ERISA.

Mr. Corcoran earned a bachelor of arts in political sciences from Purdue University, and a master of science in employee benefits law, with high honors, from The John Marshall Law School. He has served as editor and contributing writer for Tax Law and Employee Benefits In-Brief. Mr. Corcoran also earned his Certified Retirement Services Professional (CRSP) designation from the American Bankers Association.
