Katy Whitehead currently serves as Vice President, Financial Analyst in the Employee Stock Ownership Plans(ESOP) Client Services group, serving the finance area of valuation, fairness and consideration opinions for custom engagements related to ESOPs and other fiduciary trusteeships.
Ms. Whitehead joined GreatBanc Trust Company in 2022. Prior to joining GreatBanc, Ms. Whitehead acquired experience in valuing privately held companies and acted as an independent financial advisor to ESOP trustees, in which she conducted annual valuations of ESOP companies and issued fairness opinions to institutional ESOP trustees for ESOP transaction purposes. Further, Ms. Whitehead, spent over a decade in public accounting assisting clients with tax and consulting services, including income tax planning for individuals and closely held businesses.
Ms. Whitehead earned a Bachelor of Science in business administration from the University of Rhode Island, and a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from the University of San Francisco. She is an Accredited Senior Appraiser (ASA), as designated by the American Society of Appraisers, and a Certified Exit Planning Advisor (CEPA), as designated by the Exit Planning Institute. Ms. Whitehead is a member of the ESOP Association.
