Ms. Walker serves as a Senior Vice President on the GreatBanc Compliance Team, focused on valuation matters and ESOP transactions. She has been in the finance and valuation industry for more than 20 years.
Prior to joining GreatBanc in 2019, the Maine native served as Managing Director of the ESOP Advisory Practice for Marcum LLP. In that role, she acted as an independent financial advisor to ESOP trustees and conducted valuations of ESOP companies. Her extensive experience in transaction opinions and valuations make her a key resource on the GreatBanc team.
If you cross paths with Heidi on the weekends, it will likely be in the bleachers of her children’s softball and volleyball games. She spends nearly every weekend traveling for games and tournaments around New England and across the country. “It’s a lot, but I sure will miss it when it’s over,” she says. In her free time, Heidi loves to hike in the Maine woods with her dogs.
Ms. Walker graduated magna cum laude from the University of Maine with a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration. She is an Accredited Senior Appraiser (ASA), and a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) Accredited in Business Valuation (ABV). Ms. Walker is an active member of The ESOP Association (TEA) and the National Center for Employee Ownership (NCEO).
