Ms. Umhoefer serves as a Vice President on the GreatBanc Client Services team, focused on the administration of ESOP transactions and plans. She has been in finance for nearly two decades, specializing in the management and administration of retirement plans.
Before joining GreatBanc in 2023, the Wisconsin native spent several years working in account management and internal support before transitioning into relationship management and client support for 401k plans. Her experience on “both sides of the fence” makes her an invaluable asset to the GreatBanc team.
Outside the office, Kathy has a passion for volunteer work and giving back to her community. She is an active member of the local chapter of Optimist International and has served her community previously as an 9-1-1 emergency dispatcher, special education paraprofessional, Girl Scout leader, and PTA Board member. Despite being exponentially outnumbered by Bears fans at GreatBanc headquarters in Chicago, Kathy is loyal to the green and gold of her Green Bay Packers.
Ms. Umhoefer graduated magna cum laude from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee. She holds Bachelor of Business Administration degrees in both Accounting and Finance.
